Shipwrights are a vital maritime need

Shipwrights are being lost, a skill needed in the maritime sector. That is the ‘lead’ story on the July Podcast , which tells the story of a dedicated maritime family in Dublin Port maintaining the craft and building East Coast Skiffs. Also, potential conflict between the fishing industry, offshore wind developers and environmentalists over the “squeezing” out of the industry from traditional fishing areas; .the way politicians use maritime language for their own benefit, particularly at election time, but lack marine awareness generally and, new regulations which will affect anglers.
