This Podcast is the only regular broadcast in Ireland which covers the wide and diverse marine spher, reporting and discussing its culture, history and tradition.

The national sailing organisation has undergone an “evolution, not a revolution,” which has seen major administrative changes, with many people leaving the organisation. This is a time of change at Irish Sailing, which is discussed by the President of the organisation, John Twomey, in the April edition, No.4 of 2024.

Small boats, linking schools across the Atlantic Ocean.

200 small, unmanned boats, have been sent off across the Atlantic Ocean, linking schools in maritime culture. The Podcast tells the story of Educational Passages, from Barryrow National School in West Cork as it links with one in Boston, USA. A fascinating and heart-warming story. You can also hear the story of how the City of Ragusa made history across the Atlantic, with another boat, slightly larger and a dog!

And I’ll tell you my opinion of the RNLI in Ireland on this month’s Podcast
